    2014+ 230 hard tank removal???

Hi, first post here. Just traded my '08 230 for a 2016. I think I'm going to upgrade the ballast, as I had 1100's in the rear of the '08 and a 650 arrow sac in the front. The wake was awesome and we had it dialed in perfectly. I've read threads about upgrading the 2014+ 230's, all of which talk about piggyback setups. I'm wondering if there's any reason I shouldn't just remove the factory hard tanks and use 1100's again?

Oh, I have the pro ballast option if that makes any difference.

Looks like Buxton already has a buyer for your 2008 if that one is yours. That is a nice, clean 2008 btw.

Yeah I love that boat, but had a weak moment a few weeks ago.

If you look at the available space, not sure how much weight you actually gain by removing the hard tank. Secondly, the hard tank goes up the side of the boat which is supposed to help the wakeboard wave be less sensitive... Just my $0.02

            Good point, that makes sense.
