Engine fault code

13 zr450 g23
We had finished day out had back to dock engaged to head back to camp we where only running just over wakeboard speed as was dumping ballast and after 5-10mins fault code come up
DTC 11: intake cam/distributor position error

Can anyone Help with potential diagnostic
What does this fault mean ?
I’m in South Island of New Zealand and closest dealer is in north island which is a 24hr mission

Any help appreciated

Net search found me this manual for DTC codes and diagnostic process
Thought mit b helpful to others

Says my fault code is only relevant to 5-5.7l engine as 6.0 has no distributor
I figure cam advance is hydrolic thru oil pressure so have done a filter an oil change was due anyway, and will reset faults an do water test?

Yip mine was getting hot
Water flow restriction in sand trap due to sucking in weed
When I pulled out sand trap filter housing it was jambed hard with debris. Cleaned it out an sweet as since
I regularly keep an eye on it now and you be surprised how much gets into it
Must b from general shallow water etc
