Gray Roswell (2000?) 210 Super Air rebuild questions

So maybe there is a thread out there on this boat, but I am not finding it anywhere. For those that are not sure what boat I am talking about its this one:

I am assuming its a 2000 based on the narrow speaker distance on the side panel. The thing that is throwing me is the windshield. Its too "aero" compared to what came on the '99-'06 boats. The black bar I see in it makes me think this windshield is off an '07-'08 210 as per the listing I see on nautique parts:

Does anybody have more info on what is going on here? Anyone familiar with the details on this boat? I love the style that windshield adds and honestly would like to replicate with my '04 overhaul I am planning. If its close to a bolt in or just new hole drilling that's ok as I plan to jump to that same tower shown here. That requires pulling my windshield off to fix the fiberglass where the old front tower supports were.

Also I think it would be fun to pick out all the subtle changes on this boat like a where's Waldo game. Case in point the cleats seem to be custom as I can't find any year boat with that top deck that has cleats like that. Anyone see anything else?

The railing around the bow seating area is different; there's now upholstery where the handle would have been. It's all a bit different up there. Pic below borrowed from elsewhere on PN...



That Roswell boat is a great look overall. A little too much SeaDek or whatever, if you ask me. But wow, that boat looks good.

It’s a 1995 actually. That windshield is newer. I’m not sure how they got it to fit?

There are tons of custom things on that boat.

I am heading down to Roswell on February 7 to pick up the 2018 PlanetNautique G23. I will ask them for more info on this boat while I am there.

Probably an 06 windshield, they were the only year pre 07 with the longer one. 03-06 the deck did not change. Looks like it has been powder coated cause the 06 were polished.

Does ANYONE know how well the Sea Dek adheres and stays when put directly on to the pads (like the last pic)?

Yeah, makes my bank account hurt. I love my 96 SS (same hull I think) and this gives me hope to do some things.

Does anyone know if that tower folds down past the windshield so it doesn't stick above the windshield when in the down position?

It does, but you'd have to take down the bimini.

Thanks Jeff, is this a quick thing? I pull the boat out and put it inside every weekend. I guess I could just skip the bimini if I had to.

Depends on the bimini. The Roswell ShadowTop, which is what I have on my G23 this year, comes off by pulling four pins. Takes about 20 seconds. The bimini on this boat may be more difficult. I am not familiar with the one they are using.
