Sv 211 check engine light comes on!

fiddling around with batteries and now check engine light is on and engine won’t start! Can’t find diagnostic port to plug cable in! All circuit breakers have been pushed in! My next mission is to check if power is getting them to relays and check relay functions!

can anyone take a pic of a 2006 sv211 Air Nautique diagnostic port location please? Or point me in the area!

    Thank you kindly

Check engine light on...so you are getting power to ignition is sounds like. So engine will turn over but wont fire?

Sorry, cant help with port location, just getting better info so someone can help. Assume you made sure its in neutral first (made that mistake once sitting at dock and wont ever forget it, lol)

yes checked to make sureits in neutral. No.power to ecu, smelt 2 blown relays, have after markets to test. No over to ecu because laptop with disco won't work. Will try another laptop. Have checked every fuseand every relay As best I can. Going to disconnect ecu and crank motor over with starter. After I check to see if relays fix it. If not off to nautique dealer in Sydney

Make sure you check all the locations, I have some relays and fuses under the observer seat near batteries, under the helm near steering wheel, mounted to engine, mounted to backseat by engine....and some people have them behind the panel where your feet sit when driving. May be other locations depending on brand, do you have a boat manual? I know they have most of the manual's on this site if you look at top of page. Sucks man, hope you figure it out.
I don't disconnect my batteries at all, partly for that reason and cause I don't know how to properly test if I mess up the install. I just make sure its off and keep trickle charge on them over winter or charge each of my 3 batteries once a month.

My guess is that your port would be under helm somewhere, may even be zip tied into wiring. I know that is where my port is to upload software updates, etc

Try this - assuming you have a PCM 330 (Mine is an '04). this is where I plug in the small diagnostic tool I have. It is a small electronic piece that blinks the LED light per the trouble code.

That's where it was located on my 06 210 as well.
