    Ballast tank plumbing

I bought a 2006 Super Air last year and the person I bought it from pulled the ballast tanks out to install more batteries for the stereo. I am wanting to reinstall the tanks but need some help on the plumbing . Does the fill hose go to the bottom of the tank ? And is that also the drain hose?
Pics or a schematic would be great to .
    Thanks.

IIRC that was the first year of reversible pumps for the SANTE, so yes the fill/drain hose is actually the same and will install at the bottom. You should have a bent hose for the top that is plumbed to a thru-hull fitting out the side.

Thank you! That's what I figured. I take it the top hose is a vent?

The top is an overflow and vent. If you leave the pump on don’t want to blow up the bag. So once full water pumps overboard

I have stock tanks with piggyback bags in top in my super air.

If I had a blank slate in the back I’d put in 750 lb or 850 lb bags. When empty they take up less room and allow easier access to working on the drivetrain.
And it is less plumbing. I’d speculate that you will still want to add piggybacks.
