Clicking in steering wheel?

I did a search but it was fruitless. Here is the issue. When I take off from a standstill I hear clicking in the steering wheel. It does it for 1-2 secs and then stops. The steering is tight when I turn it and doesn't seem to have any play in it. Any ideas?
