Got my template, about to start drawing/tracing on the mylar, wondering if anyone has any helpful tips before I start (or before sending it in) that they would have liked to know before starting the process? Watched the YouTube tutoirals, but if any of you have suggestions on things like corners, or clearance, distance from cleats, etc, I'd love to hear them. Thanks

This is what I did and glad I did it this way. You should be able to get a “dry fit” template from SC Wake. They probably have a file for your boat anyway. If so, use that as a starting point and mark up slight changes for your boat vs. starting from scratch. If you’re already set to start from scratch anyway.... use lots of tape, pre-trim edges to get Mylar to lay flat, do some overlap of the non-slip fiberglass if you have that texture on your floor, and I personally like the look of getting the lines close to things like cleats, latches, screw holes vs leaving lots of white fiberglass showing. Hope that helps some!

Thank you both for your advice. My boat already had seadek, I'm just adding some additional on the bow and sides.
And yeah, strangely enough seadek said they didn't have template for my boat ( which I think is bogus... As I've seen it on my exact boat- year, make, model, etc)... But maybe because the cleats and tower mounts seem to be hand placed, as my port vs starboard side sides are not reversed copies of one another.
My order isn't going to fill a full sheet... But I'm paying for it, any suggestions for things to be made with extra material before I send the order in?

Trailer steps or protection areas, other toys or trailers you have, garage areas, around the boathouse? Trailer is the biggie if you don’t already have it there in my mind.

Rockymtnsurfer you mind telling me who you contacted there to place the order at Aqua Marine? I need some pieces of that same color for top of my gunwales and misc, just like you did, and want to order it asap.
Thanks

FYI Ashley....she is the best......also....all I did was send them my dimensions and then asked for rounded corners. Ashley is great and responsive! Also....I had a lesson learned. A few I got done were too wide.....I thought the look would be better narrower.....If you ever want pics..let me know.....but I think going narrower makes it less overbearing. Just my thoughts. D
