    Loud Blower

Hey guys, my blower is really loud for the first minute or so then quiets down. This happens every time I turn the blower on. Do you think a bearing in the blower has gone bad? Has anyone ever replaced them or is it easier to replace the entire blower assembly?

Very easy to replace. About a 5 min job on a direct drive. 2 screws, 2 hose clamps, and two wires.

More than likely, you need the 3" blower. If your blower is hard wired, consider installing the new one with a connector for ease of changing out next time...and there will be a next time.
