    Un-Winterization of SANTE 230

Bought a 2011 SANTE 230 last month and it has been winterized. I do not know what dealer did the winterization so I am not sure if they changed the engine oil when they did the winterization or not.

I am planning to get it ready for summer on my own as I do not rely on the dealer unless it is something major. Any tips or tricks anyone can provide would be appreciated.

Well you're in kind of a tough spot. You don't know what the dealer did. In short, you need to find out. There are a lot of ways to winterize and most of them are fine, just different. Some involve removing the raw water pump impeller. Some involve disconnecting the battery cables. Your heater hoses may or may not be connected. You certainly need to know if the oil and filter were changed.

I can manage to put everything back together it is just hard to tell if they changed the engine oil or not so I may just change that to be safe.

If you pull the dipstick it should be pretty easy to tell by the look of the oil.

Cant you ask dealer to print out the documentation? Personally, I would change the oil anyways but I would find out what they did and if they leave anything undone when they winterize. You will want to know about the impeller too and a 2011....check the belt, v-drive oil, ballast impellers, coolant and fuel filters
