    2003 SAN 210 won't start

Engine would turn over but didn't want to start. It seemed like a low battery, but both batteries were fully charged. There were some oddities that were tied to the specific batteries, which originally made me think it was related to the Perko switch (https://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/f...witch-problems). I've removed the switch so that a single battery is directly connected to the starter. It still had trouble starting. I replaced the starter, same symptoms.
After starting it a few times with the new starter, it has stopped turning over at all. Sometimes I hear a click, but usually nothing. I put the old starter back in place which at least turned the engine previously. Now nothing.

I was just looking at this thread where similar eletrical issues are discussed:
    https://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/f...ot-crank/page2

In this case, the 100 amp fuse running to the starter blew. I suspect that might be the case with mine. I see the little 100 amp case, but there doesn't seem to be a way to open it up to look at or replace the fuse.

Also, my 60 amp breaker doesn't move. I'm not sure if it hasn't tripped or if it is stuck like some mention in that thread.

Even if I figure out how to open the 100 amp fuse (or just break the case it to get it out), I don't understand why it would be blown.

Note that this wire with the 100 amp fuse, and the power from the battery were connected to the same post on the starter. That seemed strange.

first, put every back to stock spec including the perco switch.

that breaker is tripped and stuck. had it happen on mine, replace with the correct flush mount and what ever hole arrangement your SAN uses from the factory. some are offset like mine was on the '07 236.

that black device on the starter wire does look like a fusible link but i don't know how you would replace it and i don't believe its the cause of your issue.

How do I determine that it is tripped and stuck? I don't understand what it is that you are saying to replace.
            Thanks!
