Observation seat discoloration

I've got a 2013 G23 and the convertible rear facing seat has discoloration due to storing it in the folded position. Has anyone else had this problem and if so did you have any luck removing the stains. How were you able to remove them thanks?

What color is the discoloration?

I have 2 seat cushions that have discolored to a very faint pinkish-orange color. Nothing I've tried will remove it.

I thought mine was more light tan but yes I'm guessing it's very similar. I haven't had any luck either.

The faint pinkish orange coloring sounds like the micro-organism. Read that the coloring is the excretements. Nothing will get it out since its inside the foam/vinyl. Does leaving it in the sun make it basically disappear for a while and after boat has been covered for a while its more noticeable? It was an issue for a lot of manufactures for a while and they say that making sure you keep your cushions dry helps since the micro-organism grows in humid damp environment. All just stuff I read.....you can google and read more. I always run a fan inside boat to circulate air after using to make sure mine stays dry

On the seat discoloration....one idea is that dollar store sells something called LA Awesome and its one of the best vinyl cleaners I have run across, lot of others have mentioned this and how I came across it last year. Spray on and let sit a minute or so they use soft brittle brush to scrub. After tho....make sure you clean off with water and something like dawn soap, let dry and then use 303 to moisturize cause the cleaners will dry out the vinyl. It may not take it out if its sun fading, but maybe so

I believe Infinity is correct. I have heard that it is a micro-organism and it stands to reason in my case. My boat is always stored inside my garage where it stays nice and dry. The discoloration didn't occur until my boat had to sit outside with the cover on at the dealer for a few weeks while getting warranty work done. This was in the fall and we had a fair amount of rain and humidity.
