I have a 2007 220 TE and it runs great, temps, pressure everything is good. Ive noticed a random red 5/8 hose down in the engine compartment next to the exhaust I couldn’t trace back where it went without taking more stuff apart but just wanted to see if someone knew if it was for the heater or what?

Yeah I think heater or shower is a likely candidate. Does you boat have the shower valves and hose at the back somewhere as that red hose would likely go there.
Another possibility is that it's a drain hose for the ballast tanks. I found 2 red hoses in my boat and didn't know what they were until I had to pull out one of the ballast tanks in the back and found that each of the 2 tanks had a red hose for the purposes of draining all water for winterization. In my case the hoses came a bit further forward though in front of the engine.

Red hose sure looks like my heater hose. Does heat work? Maybe someone replaced it or put that recirculating kit in and didn’t clean up after themselves.

So you mention the red hose could be with the ballast system.. my ballast fill up fine but they will not dump.. I can't even hear the pumps turn on though..

you'll need to provide more photos, specifically from where the hose start. Whilst normally the red hose is for the heater, things may have been changed on your boat over the last 11 years, so to correctly ID the hose we need to see where it is coming from and going to.

I’m guessing abandoned hose to broken heat exchanger in heater.
If ford engine you’d find a plug on the water pump port used for heater circuit / loop.

its a PCM 330. I traced the hoses it is for the heater. Couldn’t find where they hook up to engine at though.
