Pre-2013 after market NSS...reviews?

I have a 230 and have been eyeing the aftermarket options for NSS install since the dealers don't recommend it on pre-2013 230s. I've heard that the aftermarket stuff just doesn't seem to produce the same wave as the factory installed NSS on the newer boats. I know several people on here have the aftermarket NSS. For those that have it, or have used it, BUT THAT HAVE ALSO USED NSS on a newer boat, are the equal? Is one better than the other?

I realize it won't have the integration like the watch or clicker to switch sides but I'm just talking about wave shape and size. I just don't want to spend $3k on aftermarket NSS and then realize that my suck gate is just as good or better.

I’ll let you know soon! I have a 2010 230 and I just installed an aftermarket NSS system on it! I really hope it does work better then my suck Gate. It will for sure be more convenient atleast!

I run 750s & 650 integrated bow over stock tanks with a suck gate before and it would really only get good with 5+ people in the boat. I was told the NSS will grab better then the smaller suck Gate.... I’m hoping it warms up soon here in Canada to try out my system

I can take more pics when I get home from work. I’m assuming you’re concerned about the curve of the boat... I was also and it bolts up real nice and slides easy with the strong lencos

not to hijack, but what suckgates are you using on your 230? I have one that is homemade from my 226 but cant get it to stick anywhere on my 230 due to the curvature of the hull back there?

I'm about to help a friend install this kit on his 230 but the curves seem pretty extreme. I'm pretty worried about getting the holes exactly right on the curved surface. Any suggestions?
