cleaning/polishing mirror bracket

any tips/tricks/products anyone would recommend to bring this mirror bracket back to life? TIA.

I cannot tell for sure but it looks like the bracket sitting idle in my garage.

not sure if dealer pulled from a boat that had salt use or this is normal wear/oxidation for 12 years old but my boat was supposedly fresh water only and i purchased from reputable nautique dealer in orlando.

Looks like you're going to have to sand blast it and then powder coat it. You could anodize as well
