Hi everyone. I will intoduce my self I'm from Canada, and I have purchased a 1998 Ski Nautique closed bow with the GT-40. 100 hours on the motor and 1000 on the boat. Boat is in great shape. I had it out for the first time and drove it for 5 hours and 3 times it hesitated. Once starting out and once cruising. It would lose power for 1 second then regain power and it would run fine. I found out that the majority of the gas is 10 monthe old and there was maybe 5 gallons of fresh on top of 35 gallons. And they didn't put any stabilizer in it. So should I just run out the old gas? Anything I can try? There is only about a 1/4 of a tank left in it know.

Well maybe it is the cool climate in Canada!! I am also from Canada and I have found the same thing happening every once and awhile on my '97 SN. We have had it for three years, plugs have been replaced (another new set went in last month) fuel is fresh, injector cleaner and fuel stabilizer is run through at least once a season. Still it will hesitate from time to time, I find most often it is when the engine is cold. I am glad to hear it is not just mine that is doing this.
