Gel Coat Patch Shelf life.

Had to do some gel coat repair a couple years ago. Needing to do a small amount this spring. I still have the stuff from before sitting on the shelf. Is it still good or do I need to order another kit?

It’s probably dried out. I ordered a patch kit but didn’t get around to doing the repair until 1-2 years later and it was pretty dried up, which was disappointing but not totally unexpected.

I alway put my patch jar caps on with a pair of channel locks pliers to get the cap on super tight and that approach generally keeps the patch kits from drying out

Checked last night. Definitely not dried out.
