    OG 210 cooler option

Has anybody thought about opening up the floor, on the original 210, in front of the port side battery under the middle port side seat to allow for a cooler. I've see another member open up the battery compartment on that side but, I started to think about the useless cooler in the middle seat. If the floor is opened up could a small 25qt cooler be dropped in and be below the seat cushion. Of course the middle seat base would have to be modified or build a new one but, that shouldn't be an issue.
This would be much like the newer boats that have the drop in 25qt coolers.
I think the first thing would be to see if the depth would allow for the option, if so, it might be a project for next winter.

It's possible I guess, but you're right depth would need to be checked. I made that cooler a bit more useful by adding expanding spray foam to the inside of the seat base where the "cooler" sits. I only filled it up halfway, but it keeps ice much longer than before. Doesn't help any for the small size, but I normally only keep food for the day in that cooler anyway. A larger stand-alone cooler does all the beverage storage.

I thought about the same thing but for all the work it would take a much larger stand alone cooler behind the driver's seat holds more, is easier to get to in an already cramped cabin, and doubles as makeshift wrap around seating when the boat is full. I was going to fill the seat base with spray foam as well but never got around to doing it as it is basically used as dry storage for cleaning supplies.
