2008 Sante 220 zr6 - water coming out of v drive- is it normal ?

Hi guys,

i set up a fake a lake and started my not this year I just bought this boat 2 weeks ago and I noticed when I ran it water was coming out of the v drive seal at the bottom of the boat and following the shaft towards the prop. This may sound like a stupid question but is this Normal? I know they are lubricated by water. I used to have a 2002 Sante and this was not the case. I attached my pics to show you.

You may have a shaft seal that is lubricated by water line coming from engine. So if engine is running(or even positive pressure from fake a lake) you will see water coming out as you've shown in the picture. This water injected shaft seal is an upgrade from the regular shaft packing that most of that vintage come with from the factory.

Which trailer do you have? I noticed adjustable bunks.

As mentioned completely normal. It’s was an option , but usually went hand in hand with the ZR6 motor. Be worried if there is nothing coming out.

Hi A.klos this is a custom made stainless steel trailer. It even has a winch powered by remote which is very handy, here are some more pics
