2008 Sante zr-6 blower hoses rotten

    hi guys,

on my 2008 zr6 , the blower hoses going to the vents are literally rotten out. The plastic is gone, you just see the wire rings. I noticed there was one passing to the front of the engine and the other along the back. The on passing in front of the engine was not connected to anything. Can someone give me some insight on how the blower technology works in this year. (2008). how many blowers are located in the engine bay. If it's only one, then why would I see 2 separate hoses.

    i appreciate all the help

Do you have a picture? I had some rotten hoses that were the "drain" hoses from my cup holders that ran into the bilge area. They don't actually have anything to do with the blower.

My boat has 2) 4" blower hoses....and 1 blower motor (drivers side rear). I think the purpose is that 1 hose is sucking in fresh air and the other is venting air from bilge.

It seems like one hose goes to nothing then. I noticed it was leading to the vent on the same side as the driver seat. I guess it is just to let fresh air in. There no blower attached to the what so ever. The other hose is the one that is attached to the blower, which I noticed is underneath the large cylinder in the back where the exhaust leads to. the other vent on the passenger side of the boat has nothing whatsoever attached to it. Can you please confirm if this is what you have ?
