I have a new to me 2007 220 with a depth guage that's not reading, but air and water temp are still working on same guage. Im assuming its the transducer. Anyone have this problem and able to fix by replacing transducer? Any tips for its replacment?

H20, thanks for the write up.
Just to verify, this connector is for the 07 220? Also, the Airmar transducer i bought from nautiqueparts (CS-P692) has 2 insulated wires and a common non-insulated wire. The DT06-2S only has 2 connectors. Do you not need to connect the non-insulated wire? Last question, should i use BoatLife Caulk or Sealent?
Thanks

Unfortunately the new transducer didnt seem to fix it. Still reading - - -. Anything else i could do? All other guages work including the air and temp on the spedometer where the depth guage reads. If all else fails i guess ill just install a separate depth guage.

When i pulled it, they had one insulated wire and one uninsulated wire connected to the plug. Problem is im afraid that the pevious owners tried to fix at some time so i dont knownif i can trust that. Guess i can try to combine the uninsulated wire before i go another route. Does the water temp get measured by the transducer as well. Because that works??

Found my notes on the install. Airmar Transducer # 31-699-1-01. The Blue wire=Signal. Black+Silver (bare) wires twisted together=Ground. Insert plug into P13 port in Gateway Box. Blue closest to P15 port, Black/Silver closest to P12 port. Should work perfectly.

Did the transducer ever work for you? My 2008 is doing the same thing. Just flashes a dash in the feet. Started out intermittently working, now never shows. Water temp registers fine. I’m wondering if it’s the same issue as the fuel gauge through the gateway box, which is why I was wondering if you ever got the new transducer working.
