Bilge staying on, 2011 Sport 200

Hi all,
I have a new to me 2011 Sport 200 and when I power up the boat from the key pad, the bilge comes on and stays on. The previous owner replaced the pump and since the replacement, it has had this issue. The pump is a Rule automatic 500 bpm and both the brown and brown and white are wired to the power. I cut the brown and white wire thinking it was seeing constant power, issue still remained. Thought any one?
Tried searching and could not find anything.

If its auto, my thots are that the float is not working properly or its wired wrong like you mentioned. Could always be a bad pump, but I would pull it apart and check the float first, it may be stuck to "on" position.
