Gt40 tune up que

Looking to do a tune up on a 99 pcm gt40.. going to do fuel filter, distributor cap and rotor, plugs and wires today. Wanting to get parts from oriellys or auto zone. Wondering if you guys had any recommendations on what engine to tell them the vehicle I’m using or any good part numbers that I can just give them. Any info appreciated

Fuel, filter (at least the one in the FCC) you will need to get from a PCM dealer as it's a specific marine part.

I think the rest you can use car parts.


Try the 'poor man's gt40 diagnostic's ' thread at ccfan. There is a spreadsheet referenced in the first post which cross references the auto parts.


I think the 93 or 94 f150 lightning is the car to cross references but you probably want to confirm the details (I may have the wrong year)
