I use two small pails of damprid in my front hatches (nestled into the back-inside corners), and then have bags hanging next to the garbage pail and from each of the overflow connections in the rear hatches and it does wonders during the season. I think it makes a huge difference...

Based on Imhoff’’s above response, I changed my Damprid placements and container types. 2 Damprid pals stern lockers, 3 hanging Damprids midship, and 2 low profile Damprid containers in bow area . This should help with moisture during winter layupLast edited by GMLIII; 10-18-2018, 07:42 AM.

Question. After the offseason of use, what do you do with the partially filled containers of damprid in the spring. I got 2 pails and looks like maybe 1/3 full of water-ish stuff. I put the tops back on. Do I just save them for next winter? The tops have some kind of membrane so I assume you can't pour anything out or clean, can you?

Just put the lid back on and keep them for next year. They're fine. You only need to replace them when they're full of water.
