    230 Pop-up pylon sticking.

The pop up pylon on my 2009 230 is s a little difficult to move. I can only turn it about an 10 degrees turn when locking (should turn 145 Degrees ). It is also a little difficult to pop up and needs to be wiggled a little.

Is there a way to service it. Does it need to be greased or have bearings that can be replaced?

I sprayed some Fluid Film in mine to fix the same problem. Worked very well.

      Great,

I have some Kroil Oil, anybody here advise if that would work too. Not sure of the long term effects of Kroil.
