Help Ballast pump fault 15’ 210

i need a little guidance,
my belly ballast pump will run fine when filling no issues , but when i try to drain it i get a fault immediately. Today i ran the pump on the port side wiring to get it to drain and the pump ran fine, so my guess is it is in the wiring someplace between the 2 pin connector and the linc system.
any ideas how to rewire this?
anyone have this issue?

Well your post is vague. Is that fault on the pump? Have your dealer file a claim.

Check all your connections to make sure they are not loose or have corrosion. May be as simply as a loose connection, one could also be going bad or been damaged. If its throwing a code/fault....what is it saying and doing? You will have a fuse to pump too, check it. You may also wanna pull the pump apart and make sure it operates freely (remove impeller and run the fill/drain cycle) there also may be debris in there, or impeller that needs replacing

Ok a little more info, the belly pump fills fine, no issues no faults. If i try to empty it trips and throws a fault code ( i will get it when on boat next).
so to get the tank to empty i switched the port connector to the belly pump and ran it and it emptied fine.
I i have a spare pump and swapped it in to try it and same results.
My guess is the reversing of the power to empty i have a bad wire . If i read the election. Schematic right the just switch the + side to get pump to fill or drain. Has anyone else had this issue?
the boat is now out of warranty and i want to attempt to fix it .
