What engine? Fuel filters should be easy....1 is spin on fuel/water separator and the other is the FCC filter. FCC is little more of a pain if you have not done it before, but not that hard and I replaced mine the 1st time in 15-20mins.
Issue you are having sucks on brand new boat! I find it hard to believe that it would be fuel filters tho with only 26hrs unless you got some seriously crappy fuel and how you describe the issue, seems more likely in my mind that a fuel pump was going out and has now died....you can test pressure at rail to see if high or low pump. Personally, that is the first thing I would ask them to check.
Good luck, hope dealer fixes this quick for you.

TallRed....what was the turn out of this? I just noticed yesterday that my neutral button doesn't work anymore. I haven't had any starting issues though, but would like to catch a problem before I get stranded! Also as a side note, I did just recently have to get my depth finder unit replaced due to it quit working. Wonder if it is all related?

The tech thought they were related, but I am not sure what exactly is behind the armrest that could somehow make them related.

The throttle assembly was replaced and the button was fixed and I have not seen a problem since. I traded it in November. Since my tech thought it was related, I would get your tranny disengage button checked out. Maybe they share a common ground in the throttle assembly or something? I am just guessing.

Good to know! I'll get them to check it out. I never really use the button so I don't know how long its been out. But glad I found out on open water and not up close to a dock!! That could have been bad!
