    Automatic bilge pump ?????

We just got our new 206 Team and I see that it has 2 bilge pumps (stern and mid-ship). I believe these will operate in auto with the power (toggle) switch in the bildge only position. Will these pumps also work in automatic when the power (toggle switch)is in the all on position?? I could only get them to work when I turned on the switch at the keyless pad manually while using the boat. My 95 had a automatic control that would turn on the bilge any time the float switch made. I couldn"t find any info in the owners manual.

Thanks in advance for any input!!

    RE: Automatic bidlge pump ?????

To turn the pumps on I believe you need to activate the key pad switch, the on position should have the switch light on solid.
You may be able to force manual pumping on by pushing in switch and holding until the switch light blinks, similar to how you reverse the ballast pumps.
I believe on my 05' 206 you can turn the bilge on even with the keypad turned off while the main switch is at the "all on position" or "bilge only position", either way I would think the only way to turn the pumps on is to push in the key pad switch until the light is solid. I generally keep mine on whenever the boat is not on the lift.
    Hope that answers your question.

      Thanks for the info!

I spoke with the dealer this morning and he also said that the pumps will operate in an auto configuration as long as the bildge switch on the key pad is turned on.
