    Removal of bow cushion

    Can anyone tell me how to remove the bow cushion (back rest) on a G23 2015

    Almost all of them are held on with these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Pull a corner out far enough and see if you can spot these "Christmas Tree Retainers." If so, there's no elegant way to get it off. You basically start in one corner and work your way around. Note that you will break some of these retainers getting that panel off.

          This tool would probably be very helpful. I hate removing panels held on by Christmas Tree retainers because a couple will usually pull out of the cushion backing instead of the fiberglass. When this happens the retainer usually wont stay in the cushion backing because it makes the hole too big. Putting the cushion back on then becomes a chore.

          You want the Christmas Tree retainer to pull out of the fiberglass and stay in the cushion backing. This will save you headaches when re-installing the cushion.
