2006 210 SAN Team - Unsolved Electronic Mysteries

Have had a couple unrelated issues come up in the last month. Anyone have an idea of the root cause(s)?
1. The electronic engine hour counter has stopped counting.
2. The keyless ignition does not require a code to start. Even from battery cutoff.

I'd be interested to know if your engine computer is still counting hours. Only way to tell is with a DIACOM though.

I would go ahead and replace the keypad. I'd be concerned that it might stop working altogether soon.

Maybe the 2 issues are related since the hour meter is controlled by what position the keypad is in. I’ll give it a try.
