    Lost Surf Select

Last year, I was able to pair my blue remote with Linc successfully. In attempting to pair my Pebble, i contacted Nautique for instructions. They sent a very useful page that shows where I could check my NSS version (the last line in the Systems page). My screen is not listing that. I have Surf Select turned on (advice from my dealer) but it still doesn't show.

    Any ideas? Thanks, as usual...

It is under the systems page as pair Pebble or pair NSS remote. There is not page for NSS under systems. Away from boat and at your house download Nautique Surf Select from the Pebble app onto your watch. Once the NSS is downloaded onto your watch , forget the bluetooth connection on your watch . Now take the watch down to your boat without taking any bluetooth enabled devices to the boat; NO CELL PNONES. Go to systems setting to pair up Pebble watch. This should work.

Thank you! I will try again. However, one additional question. In the system info page, according to Nautique, the last line should identify which version of the NSS module I have (1, 1.2 or 2). On mine, there is no line referencing that. As I mentioned, I HAVE been able to pair the simple remote previously. And I have the PAIR software on the display page. I was wondering if something happened to my module or my software is not the same. I have a 2017 GS22. Thanks again for your response!

If you have a 2017 or 2018 you should be fine. I know on the 2016 models there was a backward compatible software required on the Pebble watch to make them function with the NSS. On my 2017 there is no line item identifying which version of NSS on my LINC screen anywhere ; I just pair the watch up and I'm done.

And I have a whole bunch of Pebble Classics. They all work on a 2017 that has the Surf Select option.

I wanted to thank you guys for all the help. I finally was able to pair my Pebble/Surf Select. For future reference if anyone else has my issues, I thought I would summarize all the advice I got into a single post:

Get summary page from Nautique that lists the software needed on both the boat and the watch.
Update the watch to latest firmware.
Make sure the Nautique app on the watch is the most current version (2.0 I believe)
In the bluetooth setting in the watch, forget the phone that you used to synch the watch with. Forget all other devices
Make sure Surf Select is on in the boat. Interestingly (and someone else said the dealer had suggested this) the boat needs to be running, and the surf mode selected, before Surf Select will show up in the systems page. I tried just powering on and that was not sufficient.
Pair per instructions in the manual.

So.... It finally worked! Amazing how good it feels accomplishing what should have been a simple task.... Now the question is, will my surfing ever get good enough it was worth the effort to do this!

                Thanks again!
