    Got the impellers replaced. The pump bodies were not really corroded so much as just coated internally with lake slime. Cleaned up easily. There was some salt water corrosion on the exterior cases of the pump motors around the edges and screws since they are just plain steel, but I expect they will still last many more years now that the boat is no longer in a salt environment.

    Overall, so far, no big negatives in purchasing the Coastal Edition after it was used in salt for over 1000 hours.

      Good to know those pump bodies can go 1000 hours in the salt water environment. This may not be the norm but at least your pumps made it that far.
