    G23 Oil Pressue Fluctuations

New member looking to get some assistance in determining if the oil PSI fluctuations that I am experiencing is normal. I am seeing it bounce between 53 and 61 PSI at a constant speed (24 mph) in flat water. Its a G23 with the H6 motor. The dealership is telling me that it is normal because its a digital gauge and it shows more accurate information compared to a analog and as long as the ECU is not throwing any codes then it is ok. This just seems weird because I remember my previous wake boats seemed to have a constant PSI for oil pressure.

Here is a video showing what I am talking about: https://youtu.be/PT9H_2k3prw

I appreciate any help or insight you guys could provide.

    Thanks!

I took a video of my 2006 SAN digital gauge last summer. My boat has digital and analog and the video shows the comparison of the two at constant RPM. I'd say yours is normal - I do need to caveat that I have changed the sender twice to fix it (the video is after the 2nd replacement). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R5lR072vUmw

      I’d say 100% normal too.
If it were dropping to 10 or 15 psi in the same fashion I’d say maybe an issue.

Analog gauge can’t react quickly enough to show similar detail.

Have you checked your oil level? A low oil level can increase the variation in oil PSI. But in general this variation is not abnormal.
