Tower Bolts Loose on 2006 SV211

Just bought a 2006 SV211 Team Edition and noticed that the tower was a bit shaky. After trying to tighten the Phillips head bolts at the 4 connection points on the boat, I noticed some of them just spin without actually tightening. I was able to pull one of the loose bolts out and it was broken. I'm not too sure which tower it is, but I'm curious to know if this is as simple as replacing the bolts, or is the as back-plate located inside of the sides where the tower connects to the boat that will be needing to be replaced. Can someone help explain what options i have.

What does it look like from underneath? You should be able to see it in the front port side and upload a picture.

I literally just took one of the speakers out and there is a back plate that holds the tower. I wasn't sure of how to access it.

Congrats on the new boat! There is a lot of great info about your boat on here. Let us know if there is anything you need info on. Happy boating.

You should be able to just replace the bolts with similar Stainless steel ones.

I really appreciate it. I guess it was the anticipation of the unknown. But, they're all tightened down now. Most were just loose. Again, I appreciate the responses..

I just removed a tower and reinstalled a tower on my 2004 SV211. Let me know of any more questions because I've seen ALL the bolt locations now . Also, I'd make sure you have stainless nylock nuts on there to keep from loosening again.

Which tower did you install? I was thinking about replacing the one I have with a newer model and just fixing the holes in the front if this is possible.

I replaced with the same thing. Got it from another member hear and he upgraded to a Roswell tower.

Question for you all............I bought spacers last winter to replace....what looked like...old smashed spacers (looks rubber like)

The question is: The spacers I bought seem thick? 1/8th myb.......and hard plastic. They are the ones that fit the tower etc perfectly.....just seem different then what was on there.
                  Thanks
                  Dave

old ones were just rubber. new ones might be more like starboard or plastic.

SS nyloc nuts on all the tower bolts people.

RockyMtnSurfer, if you're talking about the spacer between the boat gel coat and tower legs, mine are hard plastic.

What about flooring like this for an 06 SV211? I've called around and apparently nobody can do it. Any suggestions? I'm wanting to get rid of the factory snap in carpets.

Have a look into seadek or gator step. It'll give your boat a more updated look that's for sure. Dries out faster too, they may have a template for your boat.

Thanks. Nautique Parts didnt have anything besides the replacement carpets which is what I'm trying to get away from.
