Hey Guys, we built a new 18' GS22 this year and have had a problem with it listing towards port side ever since we put it in the water. This is only when it is in Ski mode, ballast empty. This as you can imagine throws a large wake to the starboard side making it next to impossible to ski. Our dealer has replaced the NSS plates on the back, as they thought the port side may be sticking. But, this changed nothing. Our dealer came out the other day and put a straight edge on the hull and said there might a "hook" in the hull.
The only way we can get the boat to level out is to put about 300lbs in the port side tank and 250lbs in the Bow tank. But this extra weight also causes a hard and rampy ski wake, that feels like your knees are going to blow out when you hit it.
Has anyone had any troubles like this? If so, what was the resolution?
