Linc Screen on 2017 SAN 230 Black When Lights Are On

When I turn my navigation lights on, the Linc screen goes black. When I turn them off, it comes back on. Has anyone heard of this? This there a secret brightness setting I’m missing?

Figured it out. The screen brightness when lights were on was set to 0. Had to have the screen brightness setting up, turned on the lights, then pressed where the up arrow would be.

Yes, there is a brightness setting, and it is a pain to find it when the setting is set low and the sun is out!

Go to the preferences section and adjust the brightness there.

Hi, I think I messed up by brightness today or the Linc screen went out, black. Hoping its the brightness and not the 4k screen replacement...
I was running the boat with the bottom left button selected. Then on the screen it does show the brightness at what ever the value, this screen has the engine hours, air and water temp. I touched one of the right button thinking I was changing the speed on the perfect pass. Then everything went black, I did shut the boat down and tried to reboot and it still came up black. When I turned the boat back on I did see the system reboot in the upper left corner, but no screen?? How do I know what button brings up the brightness when it is black, if that is the issue.

Wanted to update my issues with the Linc 2 screen that went black. I tried to reset the screen by multiple shutting down, turning off batteries and even removing screen and cleaning the connections on the back with electric cleaner that you can buy in a spray can.
None of this worked and I was getting ready to order the 4k screen replacement. The dealer was also 6 to 8 weeks out to even look at it.
All of the functions worked in the Linc even though I was not able to see them, wakeboard pumps and other items. It always started just fine and ran even with the screen black with perfect pass that was set prior to blackness. : (
I was able to get the screen to come back on when I was in the air temp/ engine hrs. screen again. This is were I touched a button thinking I was changing the speed in the home screen. Once I touch one of the buttons on the right side of the screen went black and no rebooting brought it back on.
So with the Linc in that screen, bottom left button, I touched a few buttons on the lower right side and the screen came back on........ Not sure what is going on, or why these buttons turned it off originally, but wanted to post this so others can see the possible fix that worked for me. The screen never looked better and so bright. Its been on for a week and was wakeboarding with it yesterday.
