Transmission will not go into reverse.

I have a 2016 SAN with about 70 hours on it. Boat has been awesome. Today we were surfing for about 20 minutes. Went to pick up fallen surfer and no reverse. Forward gear works fine. Quick check of trans fluid and it looked pink with no smell. I did not confirm fluid level.
First day of vacation! Any thoughts, help or advise?

My quick guess would be that you lost reverse, and might need a new transmission. Not sure if they can just replace the reverse gear or not?

Thank you for the reply. NOT what I want to hear! I was hoping a relay issue or something simple.

Could try unplugging and reconnecting your throttle by wire plugs. It's possible that the reverse shift signal isn't making it.

Hopefully Tom_H is right. The 230 that we lost reverse in was a 2011...now that they no longer have a cable throttle, losing a signal makes sense.
