I have read a couple of posts about changing props, and wanted to get some fresh opinions on methodology.
It sounds like you loosen the nut if using a clamp, or remove completely if using the harmonic removal tool (since it will catch the prop).
The acme prop is ordered comes with the harmonic removal tool so I'll give is a shot.
Also, I have watched a couple of videos about removing the prop, and they all have cotter pins.
The end of the shaft tapers and there is not a spot to put a cotter pin.
Anybody have thoughts and/or input on removal/installation of the prop?
Thanks!
