    thejean, as MLA confirmed, set the switch to "off" while shore charging. But if you use a two bank charger and have an ACR wired the way BlueSeas instructions say to wire it, your ACR will close and the batteries will be in parallel while charging even if the switch is set to "off.". I don't know how each charging bank will interpret seeing the charging voltage from the other bank, but I'm guessing it would not work well wrt any "smart" features of the charger that shift charging voltage from bulk to trickle or maintenance. You can get around that issue by wiring the ACR to the top posts of the switch as I have in the pdf I uploaded above.
