    '06 SAN 210 Bimini Removal

Anyone have pointers on the most efficient way to roll back and store the bimini from the tower? Would like to leave it on if possible without removing the whole thing. Seems like it was much easier with my '02 style tower.

    Thanks, JC

    RE:

I actually have an extra set of clamps just for storage. I have the normal open position clamps, 6 total, and then an extra two on the rear down legs. When closed and stored, it has a cover with straps, the straps go around the top tower tube. Then when opened the clamps for storage are not used at all and the other 6 clamps are used.
It's a pain in the arse to get it opened up because I have to completely removed the legs from the storage clamps and essentially jog the bimini through the front legs and then reattach it to the other clamps. I had to do this because in the closed position with the cover on the bimini wasn't able to be strapped to any of the legs. Because of this I think my bimini is slightly larger than most biminis. Luckily, I drilled the clamps out and put quick release pins to make this a little bit easier.

Hope that this all made sense,

    Chris

With the tower bimini I just remove the front legs. Back legs stay put, and just put the storage cover on.

Thanks. It seems like your bimini is different. Mine goes covers the tower from the front and ties down in the rear.
