2014 G21: This time of year with water at 80 degrees...I am usually between 163-176, depending on idle vs pulling rider. I noticed if after cleaning the strainer it brought it down to 172...

My 210 ran a bit cooler. Not sure if this is normal for a G or if my thermostat is getting a bit tired...

My 2017 G23 Coastal Edition runs around 171 but they say the partial closed cooling systems (requires anti-freeze) run hotter than raw water cooling systems

What he said... I have a 2017 G23, (fresh water cooled) and it runs 165* religiously on a Texas Hill Country Lake with 100*+ air temps and ~80* water temps.

With that said his engine is running cooler than mine even though my days in Virginia are not as hot and the water temp is lower . I often thought mine was running hot but it is what it is.

We are in the low 80s with water temp so if your water temp is over 90 and your engine water temp runs between 160-175 you are doing well for a Coastal Edition. My Coastal Edition will run 171 all day long, new impeller as well.
