    Temporary Vinyl water stains

My 2002 Ski Nautique gets water stains temporarily on the Vinyl. Rain, wet life jacket etc will leave light water marks on the colored vinyl. As it dries, they go away. I've tried the 3M Vinyl Conditioner, that didn't seem to help. No other boat I've had has ever done this. Since its new to me, I'm unsure of the history, if any other product was used that has left the Vinyl vulnerable to this.
    Any ideas?

I have a 2017 G23 and get temporary water stain as well, especially under the flip up stern bench seat. I have no clue how to prevent or if prevention is even possibile on this issue

I have a 2003 and use the 303 Protectant and I believe this is what causes the temporary stains. Not sure but just my guess that it is the water reacting to the chemicals in the UV protectant if it is allowed to sit on the sit for awhile. Mine always seems to fade away after a bit.

Maybe so if Nautique covers the vinyl with 303 Protectant because I have had the stains since owning my boat and I just started using the 303 Protectant myself at the start of this season

I get them too occasionally on my dash vinyl but not anywhere else, they go away when they dry. The first time I saw the "stains"...was not a good moment
