New Acme 3345 Prop For Supercharged G's

It looks like there is a new replacement prop for the favored 3081 on the XR7 550 motors. Acme now has the 3345, which is identical to the 3081 (18 x 17.5 x .105) but has a shorter hub to match the 3" hub length on the stock props. I have talked to Acme and Delta Props, and this new prop was created in response to feedback and concerns with the 3081 3.375" hub getting the prop too close to the strut. I think this is also why the 3081 could not be used on the G21 and G25. BTW - Acme currently lists the 3345 as being an 18x17 on their site, but I am told this is incorrect.

Both Acme and Delta recommended the prop as an upgrade to the stock prop for the XR7 550 motor.

Going on in the morning. Will have some feedback soon. Again, same specs as the 3081, just the new more shaft/strut friendly 3" stock hub size.

The 3345 is the prop for the supercharged G23 for sure.

Tested on the lake today. 2,000' elevation. 5 people in the boat. All ballast full, plus additional 600 pounds of lead distributed throughout.

Surf RPM at 11.2 MPH: 3100
Wakeboard RPM at 23.7 MPH: 3800

The prop pulls with authority, drops the R's so the ride is noticeably quieter and does not negatively affect the surf wave - maybe even makes it better.

Top speed hovered around 40 mph (ballast tanks empty).

I think these numbers are similar to the 3081, but with the more Nautique friendly 3" hub on the 3345.

Some more use on this prop last night, really liking it. Wakeboarder + 10 people in boat. Full ballast, 600 pounds of lead. Legit wakeboard wake and pulled like a tractor at 2000'. Loving how it is quieter pulling less R's when surfing and wakeboarding.

Thought I would follow up on this with some longer term thoughts.....

There is only one thought: Awesome

Better pull, faster speeds, lower R's and no negative effects on the wave. If you have a supercharged G - the 3345 with its stock length hub is the prop to consider.
