    Just dropped my boat off for a spring tune up. Found out the engine was way out of alignment off to the port side. Didn’t know about checking it or trying to spin the prop. Apparently you couldn’t even turn the prop by hand. Never had any vibration or indication there was an issue. Marina owner is a trusted friend, so I’m pretty sure I’m not getting taken for a ride.

      Interesting! I ended up checking my alignment with a friend last August. It’s actually simple to check...basically just loosen the four bolts on the shaft and check all around with feeler gauges. Mine was right on the edge of spec, so not worth adjusting. And after really looking at the engine mounts and how the adjustments work, I think I’d hire someone...
