My buddy bought a 08 210 about two weeks ago. The bought has been around our town for a couple years and he picked it up for a great deal. The motor has been replaced due to overheating issue. Well he took it out last week and ran fine all day and was idling back to landing and the boat stop pulling forward. Put it in reverse and no problem. Notice some smoke from the engine compartment and it just revs up in forward. Checked the trans oil and it was a grey color and had a little white like it has water in it. Just looking for advice on where to go from here. The closest dealer is 4 hours away. Thinking we might drain the fluid and flush the transmission and put some new fluid in it and see whats happens. If it works and starts getting milky again then it has water getting into it somehow. Located the trans cooler and it looks to be fine but that could be the issue. Im afraid he might have burnt up the tranny. Any advice would be appreciated.
