Need help! I have a 99 super sport with an Excalibur 343 in it. It started hesitating once in a while while coming out of the hole. Last weekend it completely died coming out of the hole. No sputter just completely cut out. Turned the key over and the fuel pump wouldn’t run. Had Power to everything else on the boat. After another ten minutes and turning the key over another 20 times I turned the key on and the fuel pump ran and the engine fired right up. Ran great for another 15 minutes then cut out again. Fired up and ran another 20 minutes then died again. After turning the key over another 10 times the fuel pump ran but engine wouldn’t crank. Had to cross the solenoid on the starter and it started right up. Ran it for another 15 minutes and it died again coming out of the hole. Couldn’t get it started after that. Had to get towed in. Next morning put the hose on it and she fired right up no problem. Already replaced the ignition, put in a new fuel filter and replaced all the spark plugs before this past weekend and all these times it cut out. Any ideas?
