Water in swim platform

Doing some random work and cleaning today when I stepped on the swim platform and bubbles came through a crack! It is a small crack that should be a breeze to fix but I am worried about the interior rotting out now that I know there has been standing water inside the platform. Thoughts? What kind of material is inside a composite platform? Should I be worried or should I just flip it up side down to drain for awhile and patch it up?

It has foam inside it. Like expanding foam, flip it upside down and let it drain for awhile. Patch it up and should be good.
