2017 G21 small amount of water in bilge

Just received our (new to us) boat a few days ago and noticed after our run that there was a small amount of water in the bilge. It was not enough for the pumps to kick on but enough to make me question whether or not this is normal. Any idea if this is to be expected with a newer boat?

It happens, but is never normal. My 2015 had a leak that came from the NSS plates having virtually no sealant where all of the screws were placed.

My 2016 has a leak that my dealer says comes from the rudder. Hopefully your dealer is better than mine. They kept my boat for 6 weeks this winter and never got around to fixing it.

It is surprising how much water people can drag in as they drip as they come in the boat, and that is totally OK with me. Also, it is not unusual for the wave to splash up the transom and a little may trickle down the vents in the back.
