Loose wires under seat?

Anybody know what these loose wires under the seat of my G series? There is another set of wires with a red connector not shown in the picture (tucked up above the metal plate behind the black protective sleeves). Should the gray and red pairs be connected?

They should be loose like this. Unless, of course, you ordered the boat with those particular options...

Hmm.. well I have the enhanced courtesy lights but not the seat heater. So maybe one set of wires needs to be connected but not the other? Guess I’ll do some trial and error and see what it does.

Do you have the light up badge on the back of the seat? And if you do does it light up?

that's what I'll have to check next time I'm on the boat. Only had the boat 2 weeks and haven't used it after dusk yet to have a need for the courtesy lighting...

Make sure each wired plug end has a cap or plug on it so it does not get dirty or corroded.
