    G21 Warm Storage Questions

I am storing a 2017 G21 in climate controlled storage for 5 months. I do not need to winterize it. Other than standard maintenance and gas stabilizer, are there any other tasks I should be aware of? Thanks.

What’s your climate like? Is it insulated, the worst would be is to have the power go out for a couple days and have things freeze. Take the 20 minutes and pull the plugs and drain the water.

I would not trust that at all. I would take out all the blue plugs Then you can sleep at night.

Thanks for feedback. It is a heated building and as backup power, sprinklers, and 24 / 7 security and monitoring. Owners of building are local and have stuff stored there as well.

Personally.....I would coat all the metal engine parts in an anti-corrosive, engine mounts, etc. Grease the rudder and if you take any parts out (like impeller or drain plugs, hang them on the steering wheel in a bag so there is no chance of forgetting what you did....I also write a list of what I did....and what I want to do in Spring to finish things up. (I also write the date and hours on the oil filter/fuel filter, etc when I do changes as well as keep a log, not only for myself....but for future resale.
If there is power for an extension cord and the cover is gonna be on, I like to keep a small fan on low for air movement too, not a bad idea to put a pail of damp-rid in engine compartment and make SURE that boat is 100% dry before you put it in storage building. I would also keep a "smart" maintainer on my batteries, or I would at least go once a month and plug them in for 48hrs.

            Use fogging oil as well.
