I’m curious at what interval people are changing their FCC filter?

I change mine every 2-3 seasons honestly. Unless, I believe there’s a problem. I use additives pretty regularly when gassing up however.

I change mine each year, I am sure it can go longer without issues, but even always running ethenol free fuel...mine looks pretty dirty each time I change it.
I will see if I can upload a picture of what mine looked like last time I changed it (100hrs from last season, pic taken in March of this year). Personally I like to change my fuel filters in the Spring just before firing up the boat tho its probably just the same as doing it at layup time. Also change my impeller in the Spring so it does not "take a set" sitting in there over the cold months.

I purchase both boat and diesel fuel at a couple high volume stations and I think that makes a huge difference.
They are both busy places normally, but I doubt too many places do "high volume" of ethenol free fuel since most people just buy regular fuel and don't think twice about it. I have experienced first hand a couple times what ethenol can do to fuel lines/system, etc....and while I know these PCM engines are made to handle regular E10 fuel and if you run thru it and it does not sit...you are not likely to have issues. I prefer to get ethenol free when it comes to my boats, motorcycle and small engines like lawnmower, chainsaw, etc, I also suspect I get a little better power and cleaner fuel system cause of it (my personal opinion and respect anyone who thinks the opposite). Actually I recently got a new Ram 1500 truck.....I ran a couple tanks of E10 87 fuel and then ran a couple tanks of ethenol free 89 grade. Got roughly 2.5-3GPH better on the ethenol free, I thot that was interesting. I know you gotta factor the extra cost and for that reason wont run it all the time in the truck, just thot it would be interesting to see what happened when I switched. (BTW...I also average 5GPH on my 24ft boat and that is 90% full time surfing with 4,900lbs of ballast, which obviously includes the idle time back to the fallen surfer...but if my boat is not moving, its turned off to keep hours down, so idle is as minimal as possible).
Anyway, I don't mind changing the fuel filters a bit more frequently if that is the tradeoff between getting ethenol free vs E10 fuel. Sounds like you are in a perfect area to get fresher fuel....that's definitely a bonus but I would have to assume that is not the norm for most of us.

2015 g23. I’ve done mine at 100 and 200 hours. This year I’m skipping 300 hours, and will do it again at 400. (Another topic, but I’ve always replaced the fuel water separator too. Is that necessary? Or can you just dump it to ensure no water in it? It’s cheap enough and super easy so I’ll probably just keep changing it.)
